Reflection: Nepal's Earthquake Preparedness Plan


 I have gathered information about our assigned country and have learned that it was struck with an earthquake that devastating and had caused a lot of casualties and deaths. The 2015 earthquake, known as the Gorkha earthquake, made a lot of damages. Mainly the structures of the buildings and houses is an example affected by it. After the earthquake, government agencies formulated a plan that will decrease the chances of houses or buildings going down. They made an alternative solution using bamboo as the material.

     After I’ve gathered the info, I reacted to it positively. It is because of how they wanted improve their structural problems. After the earthquake, as what I’ve mentioned, a lot of buildings collapsed which caused a lot of lives. I know that Nepal can definitely be better and will still progress against everything that will go down on their way.









 I've compared Nepal to the country Philippines and they have a lot of similarities. Not all are bad but they have one thing in common, they continue to progress and improve. We know that both countries will be better in the future. Both countries are resourceful and can create a much more brilliant plan in order to save the people living on the land.

     I concluded that the country is doing their best to repair the damages made by the disaster. They are strong enough to protect their own future and the lives of people. And that, the country can develop new ways to prevent further harm and disaster.

It is like saying that you can give but do not give too much or you will forget leaving some for yourself.  Every one of us must know how to put limitations on some stuffs when it comes to giving. Although it may look like you are being stingy or you're unwilling to give and people might think of it negatively. The Essence of Family Day Last Sunday, on January 26, 2020, the Asian College of Technology celebrated ACT Tribal Family Day with the theme "stronger families, stronger Asianista community". An awesome day in which your family members and your friends are all tied to one another. It was a great day and it expressed the importance of having harmonious and united with your family.
