It is like saying that you can give but do not give too much or you will forget leaving some for yourself.  Every one of us must know how to put limitations on some stuffs when it comes to giving. Although it may look like you are being stingy or you're unwilling to give and people might think of it negatively. But it is also important to remind ourselves that this person or people we care shouldn't be place at the center of our lives. We should also think of what they thought of us and how important are we to them because it would be disappointing to know that the level of importance that the person has on us is different from how we imagined. Judgement of Paris In the famous judgement of Paris, Paris chose Aphrodite who offered him the most beautiful woman to be his wife, disregarding Athena and Hera's offers which are power, military glory and wisdom. Paris was a foolish man and he was thought of as a philanderer. He was foolish for choosing beauty over power and wisdom. And what made it so much worse is, is the fact that Helen is already married to King Menelaus. Paris should have known that, after all Helen's beauty is widespread and the talk-of-the-town and being married to a king is a plus to that. And yet he still did it without thinking of the consequences that might happen. He didn't think that by involving himself to the goddesses' silliness, he could cause problems or initiate one. He didn't think that by having Helen as his wife, it would ensued a 10 long year war that killed thousand of people. Desiderata            What is happiness? Happiness can mean to anyone and everyone. It depends on the person and what that person experienced to feel happiness. For me, happiness is a journey you must take for you to see your destination. You have to go through some obstacles in your life but if you strive further, you will reach your goal.      With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Reflection: Nepal's Earthquake Preparedn e ss Plan  I have gathered information about our assigned country and have learned that it was struck with an earthquake that devastating and had caused a lot of casualties and deaths. The 2015 earthquake, known as the Gorkha earthquake, made a lot of damages. Mainly the structures of the buildings and houses is an example affected by it. After the earthquake, government agencies formulated a plan that will decrease the chances of houses or buildings going down. They made an alternative solution using bamboo as the material.      After I’ve gathered the info, I reacted to it positively. It is because of how they wanted improve their structural problems.  FAMILY DAY My mom sent me to school and said to me that they will just come at 3:00 because they had some stuffs to do. After I registered, I saw my classmate and we came together to our booth. There was still a mass going on so I quickly found a seat to listen. After the mass, I had asked one of my friends to go with me to get my Family day t-shirt. One by one my friends started to come and we chatted random stuff for awhile until my parents came.  Me and my parents Me and my friends Our Family day held events that students and parents could participated into. It was fun because all Grade 9 students in a dance competition and of course it wouldn't be as fun without the parents tagging along to.
